Following an election by online ballot and a regular meeting (February 2, 5:00 p.m.), Professor Je Seong Jeon (Department of Political Science and Diplomacy, Jeonbuk National University, Director of the JISEAS) was elected as the 17th president.
He is the organization's first president, who held the position through a direct election where all members could vote.
His term of office will be two years, from March 1, 2023, to February 28, 2025.
