[October 6th] KISEAS Monthly Seminar

The Institute of Southeast Studies of KASEAS will be hosting its monthly seminar on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 4:00 PM in Trinity Hall at Busan Foreign Studies University. This event will be available both in person and virtually. In this seminar, Professor Jeong Ho-jae, a researcher at the ASEAN Center at Korea University, will provide insights into the development and current challenges of Myanmar's centrism. Additionally, Professor Kim Ae-jin from Dongseo University's College of Arts and Sciences will discuss Korea's role and direction in offering Official Development Assistance (ODA) amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Myanmar. The session will be moderated by Professor Cho Heung-guk, an Honorary Professor at Busan National University's Graduate School of International Studies. As the seminar will take place both in-person and virtually, we warmly welcome your active interest and participation. Please feel free to join and take part in open discussions, contributing to a space that encourages meaningful exchanges.
