The KISEAS of KASEAS is hosting a monthly presentation on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 2:30 PM in the ASEAN Hall at the ASEAN-Korea Centre. The event will feature two sessions.
In Session 1, titled “Perspectives of Neighboring Countries on Myanmar,” Dr. Kim Ye-kyung from the National Assembly Research Service and Dr. Lee Gi-tae from the Korea Institute for National Unification will discuss the policies and economic relations that China and Japan have regarding Myanmar.
Session 2 will focus on “Cultural Diplomacy of Thailand and Indonesia.” In this session, Dr. Lee Chae-moon from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and Dr. Ko Woo-jung from Sungshin Women's University will present on Thailand's soft power promotion policies and South Korea's cultural public diplomacy efforts toward Indonesia.
